Sure 2009 is one of the worst year in Akshay Kumar's career. He has started this year with an utter flop movie Chandni Chowk To China (2009). After few days he has acted in Nahesh Kukunoor's 8 x 10 Tasveer was also utterly failed at the Box Office.

His third movie in this year was, Kambakkht Ishq which was also not reached the expectations. But the film commercially did well at the Box Office. Because of the Akshay's craze and Kareena Kapoor and Amrita's hot appearance.

Most awaited film of 2009 Blue also disappointed every one. This under water thriller gave losses to the distributors. His last movie De Dana Dan has bagged some good profits, but sure its not a movie audience expects from Priyan and Akki 's combo.

Akki failed to give the performance like Kamal. It met with negative reviews, but received some good success at Box Office. Latest Blue also became an average. It created huge hype, but once again Akki came with week story. But Technical values helped to win some collection.

Now Akshay Kumar has his full hopes on De Dhana Dhan only. Its going to release in November 2010.
